This policy outlines the terms for cancellation and refunds for access plans offered by BitGenex (www.bitgenex.com). All access plans are provided via one-time payments. Please read it carefully.
1. One-Time Access Plans
BitGenex offers access plans (e.g., "Monthly Access", "Annual Access", "Lifetime Access") via single, non-recurring (one-time) payments. These plans grant you access to specified features for the duration outlined in the plan description at the time of purchase.
1.1. Access Duration & Expiry
Your access begins upon successful payment and continues for the period specified by your chosen plan (e.g., one month, one year, or lifetime).
- Term-limited plans (Monthly, Annual): Access automatically expires at the end of the term. There are no automatic renewals.
- Lifetime plans: Access is intended for the operational lifetime of the BitGenex service.
1.2. Cancellation of Access
Since all plans are one-time payments, there is no recurring subscription to "cancel" in the traditional sense of stopping future payments.
If you wish to have your active access terminally removed from our system before its natural expiry (for term-limited plans), you can request this via your profile page or by contacting support. Please note that requesting early removal of access does not typically qualify for a refund (see Section 2 below).
2. Refund Policy for One-Time Purchases
All one-time purchases for access plans are generally **non-refundable**.
We may consider refund requests under very limited circumstances, at our sole discretion, such as:
- If the service was not delivered or was significantly not as described due to a demonstrable fault on our part, and this is reported within 7 days of purchase.
- In case of proven accidental duplicate purchases for the exact same plan made within a short timeframe.
- As strictly required by applicable consumer protection laws.
To request a refund, you must contact our customer support at support@bitgenex.com within 7 days of your purchase, providing proof of purchase (e.g., transaction ID) and a detailed reason for your request. Refund decisions will be made at our sole discretion, except where otherwise required by law.
Refunds are not provided for:
- Unused portions of term-limited access plans if you choose to stop using the service or request early access removal.
- Misunderstanding of plan features if they were described on the checkout page.
- Issues not directly attributable to a failure of the BitGenex service itself.
3. Free Trial Periods & Usage Limits
BitGenex offers a limited number of free generations for its Text Processor tool for new users. Once this limit is reached, continued access to this feature requires a purchase of an access plan. Other features, like the AI & Source Explorer, may require an access plan for any use.
4. How to Request a Refund or Assistance
For all refund requests or assistance, please contact our customer support team at support@bitgenex.com. Please include your account information and details of your purchase.
5. Changes to This Policy
BitGenex reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of our services or purchase of new plans after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
